Vision Smarts is a Belgian SPRL (LLC) that develops, distributes, and supports software libraries for image recognition and real-time video analysis. The company strives to make cutting-edge technology available in an easy-to-integrate and affordable form to clients who may not otherwise have the resources to develop them on their own.

About Benoit Maison

Prior to founding Vision Smarts, Benoit Maison helped develop high-tech products for IBM (speech recognition for the automotive industry and call centers), Alterface (multiplayer games for theme parks), and KLA-Tencor (yield management solutions for semiconductor manufacturers). His interests range from Artificial Intelligence and Statistical Machine Learning to Web-Enabled Business and Mobile Applications.

Benoit Maison holds a PhD degree in Engineering (UCL, Belgium, 1998) and his work has resulted in over 40 scientific publications and 9 issued patents.
